I don't necessarily agree 100%, but I do think that sex is largely not viewed with respect anymore. I do think it has a role in having people feel more connected to each other. However I feel that sex in this manner should only be with someone you're committed to (so no one night stands or open relationships) because if you have too much sex with too many different people it tarnishes the ability for sex to function as a way to connect. Also if you're committed to someone, and you accidentally get them pregnant, then in theory you should be more likely to stay and help raise the baby as opposed to running away and leaving her a single mother.

People really should thing about the long term and spent time trying to find one good mate to spend their lives with, because that's the best decision most people can make if they care about leading a fulfilling life. Family and legacy are very important things that people should value more.
