There are tons of free bible apps and you can read it free on the internet in multiple places.
King James reads like Shakespeare.
ESV is like a casual language one.
NIV reads like a lawyer wrote it.
There is also the AMP or Amplified Bible which is like every translation at once and they put the alternative words in brackets.
I personally like the NIV. I attend a Seventh Day Adventist Church a couple times a month. I would go more but I have to work a lot of Saturdays. The people are great. Church is the only place to find a girl who's wife material these days.
