Money? Are you a nigger, m8?
And what you will do with fucking 300 acres of land? You know, you must process all the land that will be given to you, or after 5 years it will be taken by the special land comission.

Here, in the Far East, the land is somehow fertile, but there is no sun. The vegetables and fruits grow up watery and tasteless.
But in my region, they provide the most fertile soil near Lake Khanka (you are free to google it), so it's not such a bad deal. The only question is money to be invested in building a house and area treatment.

Alcohol can not be purchased after 10p.m., so you can rarely see any drunken man on the street, only in a bar or nightclub.
I personally don't drink alcohol, just kvas, you know, even little children are drinking kvas.

You won't make it. You'll need a loving family to support you and help you out with survival in the wilderness.

That's a subsistence farm which can feed a family of four per year. There is no contingency for things going wrong and no scope for selling surplus crops.

It is relatively easy to subsist on a small area, but in order to be profitable you need more space. I agree that at 200 acres I'd do it, but unless there was a right to purchase additional land at low rates once you are a citizen it's not a long term prospect.

At best on the current deal you could live on it for 5 years, claim your citizenship, sell and move on. Problem is my earning potential over those five years is pretty good and should grow rapidly as I progress down my current career, 5 years on a subsistence farm will do noting like that so it has to be worth it's while in other ways.

If they want industrious people to move there and develop the region, they need to offer something that is attractive to industrious people. The only people who this will be a great proposition for are NEETs, most of whom aren't going to be the most successful at developing a wilderness region if they cant even get a job at a supermarket or building site.

I'd really like to set up permaculture farms in empty Russian land and invite all the white men who are desillusionned from the EU.
Russians won't mind because they have a surplus of women unlike us, and they're real Euro bros too, so it'll just be like old Europe again (west-east divide didn't exist like it does now).

We can start a white men only company and start the reconquista with Russia as our base.

>>73369289
looks like the plots are pretty close together though, if you're boxed in on all sides and you land is spread out in a non contiguous way it's not very efficient. Bear in mind that you'll be quite some distance away from major markets which will drive distribution costs up. You'd need to be very cost efficient in order to be competitive, or produce a top end luxury product.

These agricultural lands look like this. You should know that in Soviet times, every village had agricultural land, which have been used by state enterprises. Now these lands are mainly empty.

>>
>>73371899
It's not that hard, you just have to use it, nobody tells you how. You could make a timber farm, or plant stuff, build something, etc. I guess even planting flowers everywhere and have a few beehives would count as using, and wouldn't be that hard to do.

People can live in Antarctica. People can live in the desert. With the the right equipment you can live on Mars.
The question isn't can you live there, the question is whether or not you're going to survive if the infrastructure collapsed.
You can have a house in Siberia that you can heat with wood, but what if the house burns down? How long are you going to survive?

I'm pretty sure that if you guys actually want to be farmers, you could just go apprentice yourself on an actual American farm sometime. Gain some capital as well and then buy a decent 160 acre plot anywhere in Russia. It's a big country and honestly, I bet they'd still give you the same citizenship deal no matter where you decided to farm. It'd be like the E-5B visas here in the US. You have to invest a certain amount in the area and provide some jobs, then residency and citizenship are given.

Only the most expensive local beer will cost so much, Hans, for example. And it is 250 per liter, instead of a pint.
If you mean by "normal" beer that is imported from Europe, it is natural to be expensive because of the logistics and exchange rates.

5 months is not unreasonable to think though.

Dude, the daily average is what counts. If you have over 5 centigrade, you can grow crops, and they won't die during the night at the temperatures you showed.

If I used the records like you did, I could say that on the best years the growth season is 11 months, which is pretty much on level with the garbage you just said.

Gotta carry a handgun in the city because you never know where drunk eskimos are. Gotta carry a big gun outside the city because you never know where bears are. Villages are no go's if you're a white guy, at least one has actually passed legislation banning white people from entry.

However in some parts you can get property surrounded by trees and nature within commuting distance of a major city. This is my situation, though the way your ISPs treat your rural people it looks like I'm lucky to have internet at all.

Oh yeah, and there are many russians here, some are old believers who are xenophobic and some are first or second generation Soviet immigrants who I'm beginning to suspect may or may not have some kind of connection to the KGB.

Am I the only one who sees the biggest downside to this? I like Putin, and how he's such a thorn in the side of our corrupt politicians in the West, but living in Russia is an entirely different story.

We are talking about a place where officials constantly demand bribes from people, and failure to comply lands your ass in jail where you are beaten. Sounds to me like this is a trick to get a load of fools to develop the land for them, then chuck them out after 5 years when you fail their test.
