I am also frankly quite disgusted by the amount of redundant (for the user) scripts every web site nowadays have. Your typical news paper site offers a very simple layout, a small news story but still has well over 2500 lines of code which is simply absurd.
The thing which mostly grinds my gears, though, is the amount of tech illiterate people using the internet and how every possible site / app / whatever caters to them. That's why we get shit like the metro GUI on Windows 8, or people wanting a web app for everything an actual software on your computer could do far better. These people will never learn anything about computers when the developers make everything so simple a baby could use them while at the same time making any customising for advanced users impossible or at least tedious.

The quality problems in modern society drive me nuts. SO MUCH CRAP EVERYWHERE. I had to drop off a few things at the landfill recently and the volume of junk was overwhelming. And hoarding. I know that's not completely a modern thing but it is off the hook these days. Especially all these neurotic, liberal, middle aged hipster types I know. They have so much stuff their apartments are crammed to the seams. They hoard relics from the world which is gone, and often value those things instead of children, family, emotional and physical health. It is super sad, the only way they feel they can preserve, even recreate the world they miss. And they're too dumb to realize how their politics rekt that world.
My wife feels like I do. She combs through estate sales, thrift/charity shops, places like that. She is fast and very good at it. She shops rich areas and gets both great old stuff (like my 70's Marantz tuner and speakers) and high quality new things that rich people just throw away. So we have quality furniture, clothing and housewares we could never have afforded new. Even my $1000 mountain bike, we paid $150 for it at a garage sale. Bought and never used. We almost never have to replace anything and we don't spend beyond our means.
It's hard to imagine what our society will be like if we experience a return to quality over quantity, and spiritual, emotional and family values over material values and lust for cheap fame and notoriety.
