In the sense that all people need to strive for excellence, dominance, and primacy in a competitive world, yes "supremacy". In a world with many predatory groups that are your enemies, yes.

More like racialism, in the sense that race is real, and the strongest, most stable state is one with a strong, stable, homogenous culture and racial identity. Most states are this way already:

>Korea is for Koreans
>China is for Chinese people
Compare this to "civic nationalist" states, with a high degree of multiculturalism, multiracialism, and cosmopolitan identities. The US and Mexico, for example, are "civic" nations; Mexicans are not a race, Americans are not a race either. Canadians are not a race.
However, when these country began, they were founded by relatively homogenous ethnic and racial groups, upon cultures from specific countries in Europe, also with high degrees of linguistic, cultural, and racial homogeneity.
National Socialism was a formulation of "ethnic nationalism" for Germany, but was not limited to Germans. Ayranism is an ethno-linguistic racial theory, not an aesthetic or "appearance based" racial theory; people often confuse "aryan" for "nordic", the result of Hollywood propaganda and constant associations. Technically, according to the theory, most Europeans would be considered "Aryan", including Persians, many Slavic subgroups, and some central asians. Aryan is a very broad category.
In theory, non-Germans and even non-Europeans could be National Socialists; it was not exclusively limited to Germans, despite this myth.
