4. Legalizing weed would free up our jails and put more people back into the work force, strengthening the economy. People in jail already receive food, shelter, utilities, medical care, and other psychiatric services that cost tends of thousands of dollars to the tax payer. Getting weed smokers out of jail and back into jobs would lessen the burden on the gov't budget, and help our economy.
