not interested in raising animals though.

I can afford to buy eggs, if it means not having to deal with that farm smell
>>
I'm no farmer but I do know that you need at least two dimensions to grow stuff. 500m in one plane of existence just won't cut it, I think you've been had m8.

Start composting, it'll get you the best soil and is free. Gardening isn't that difficult just know the plants' requirements and don't let them wilt.

If this gets way too easy I buy my neighbor 300 square meters or my other neigh.

All this land is left to the giant rats but it is fertile as shit.

Anything you grow will be either eaten by giant rats or stolen by your monkey neighbours
Just try a small test plot first before you pump any brazilian shiny shells into it

Grow beef you jackass
Plant ag requires labor, heavy attention to weather, and good soil to start with. Alternatively can do sheep, goats, or camelids (llamas, alpacas)for food and/or wool if thats a thing in your country. Pigs smell too much and chickens need high efficiency to be profitable (super easy otherwise).

If you want to know more, go ahead and ask. Working on bachelors in horses and cattle at the moment. Also know argentina and brazil are beef power houses

but throw pig shit and then water it

I am a city man, pol is the very reason I am not selling....at least not right now.
this is the kinda of place where a man might have a big family so I am trying to look into it for a while see how it feels. maybe I invest bigger money, or maybe I just hold for a couple of years while Brazil is on crisis and sell in a healthy market when it is productive, either way is because of /pol/ that I am making good decisions.

after a google search apparently is rotten stuff in a barrel.

the trick is to maintain a specific humidity level; if you wind up growing mold it can eat your crops too I think and too dry and it won't break down. look up vermiculture. you probably wont need to fertilize or to work hard if the land is alreadg fertile. especially of you plant native crops

How you have a idea of how many cows would I even need? dealing with animals sounds so much more complex for just some a starter.
yes, wool is NOT a thing in my country.
>>
>>73321965
Gotta get rid of them rats, pal. They had them where I had a garden once and they just stripped the corn. It was peeled like a banana and the kernels gone. If you are in an unpoluted area you could eat the rats.

Ill give you an example from a small beef business in california.

Most cattle ranches have less then 100 head of cattle in america. But most of those are owned/ran by people with other jobs. In california, you can make a decent living still with that alone, but usually need a niche. Also a single person or some more can easily run that operation with the right space.

People looking to test it out might do 5-20 cattle at first and have them pop out the cash bags/ calves. Sell them as needed, pay bill, down payment on truck, or something. Then when they get use to it, they might get bigger.

I recently went to a cattle auction in northern cali that dealt with small operations. Airconditioner repairmen were dropping off cattle. And ranches from states over were still trying to purchase these cattle for feedlots.

Tl;dr you can ease onto the business with beef cattle.
>>
If you're looking to sell what you grow you could start looking for buyers, and what they need. Although the land is relatively small to make a big profit, but rarely starts anybody from the top, if ever.

If you're keeping it to yourself, potatoes may be a good choice. But... you should consider consulting someone in the field or something

Clean eat meat is delicious, especially ones that only feed on local veggies and other Clean animals

No different than squirrel or good coon meat

Going to an auction and asking what buyers want helps alot. Also nearby college if there is any out there. I know from my dad and moms countries (phillipines and el salvador) that things arent the same as the u.s.

Also i can recommend a book that is great and easy to read that were using in our class if you want.
