Are you ever allowed to kill a policeman in self defense?
Let's assume that you could prove you were absolutely innocent and that the policeman had no real reason to suspect you of anything, but he jumped out of his car with his gun drawn, threatening and screaming at you.
Has something like this ever happened?
Lets assume this takes place somewhere you can kill people in self defense.

There have been people who killed police in no knock raids thinking they were criminals breaking in and got found not guilty

Well I know at least around here if it's night and a police officer wants to pull you over it's legal to keep driving until you're in a more well-lit/populated area in case the person is pretending to be a police officer.

A guy in Texas did this during a no knock raid, wasn't charged.

they have all kinda of different procedures now and this is why. And even then its still dicey and the defense attorney will still always explore this option first.
What if I got pulled over and while he jumps out of his car he just starts open firing?

A 60ish year old swedish man has been in the news lately for shooting and killing two youngsters who broke into his house wearing ski masks wielding a knife and an iron pipe. He was dating their mother and there had been history of fighting between the man and her kids because they didnt approve of their relationship. So much that he had filed a restraining order against them. But when the restraining order finally ran out, they broke into his house with weapons, and thats when he killed them.
With all this evidence in his favor, he is still facing jail time for murder.

Yes, if the officer is commiting an illegal assault you can defend yourself.
I can't think of anything like that ever happening here except of one off duty cop who got drunk, attacked someone, got stabbed and died, with the court ruling it was self defence.
Contrary to anti-authoritarian lolbertarian fantasies the cops carrying out operations in first world countries usually know what they're doing and don't launch completely illegal assaults on random citizens. They are also constantly flooded with complaints and lawsuits by families of every dindu they shoot and every second moron who got iinto a drunk fight with cops and ended up arrested. Usually it turns out that people who were fighting cops in "self defence" were just delusional idiots but they never accept the court rulings and go on their whole lives convinced they've been wronged by "The System"
