They are. You see, here is something they don't tell you: A guy who owns a lot of physical property has a vested interest in seeing the place where that property is not go to shit.
It isn't like an investment banker or a politician, who can just move their "wealth" around in bank accounts and thus are able to quickly capitalize on any disasters or degradations that are inflicted on a country.

Why do liberals always assume that the only reason someone would vote for someone is because that someone promised them something thats in their own (generally financial) best interests?
