Abolishing slavery is the greatest mistake America has made. We're getting killed economically because Chinese lives are so devalued they work 12 hour shifts in carcinogenic fumes for pennies. It's practically free labor. China, Singapore, all those fuckers are paying slave wages so I don't see why we should shoot ourselves in the foot by not doing the same. Letting the slave-labor be done overseas instead of here just enriches Chinese companies instead of American ones.

This guy basically. America is already taken to the cleaners by the Chinese. The West buys way more from them than they buy from us. Capital flows one way as far as trade with China is concerned. A trade war with China would hurt them more than it would hurt America. And for any hurt it gave America, in the long term it would be good for the States as they stopped outsourcing all their manufacturing jobs.
