How much is the upkeep going to cost yearly? Trump said it was a one time cost for them to build it in his plan but doesn't mention this I don't think.
How much is the increase in border patrol going to cost? A wall is useless unless people are actually monitoring it properly. People will just climb over otherwise.

The cinder blocks would be labor intensive, but that just means more jobs for Americans. Also Trump has stated many times that we wouldn't need to wall off the entire border, there are many regions with "natural borders" so already there estimate is at least minutely flawed.

I could see it, depending on how extensive the colony is. You'd need to set up some resource satellites or something though...it'd be pretty hard to send everything they'd need for a "permanent" colony in one trip
