Right on. Get in touch with your neighbors (if they are trustworthy) and for a small response team with each other in case the shit hits the fan and you need backup.

I have a few bro neighbors on my block here in Clovis and we all look out for each other. We have CB radios in case something happens and we need to communicate with each other.
