I read the quotes in TheHill.com story, which was based off CNN.
Trump said first off that he wanted to get people better jobs that paid more than $15 / hour. That's his real solution.
When pressed, he said he was looking at the minimum wage, and added that if they tinker with the low end of the wage scale much, it will make us less competitive.
The only thing the MSM can hang their hat on is Trump saying he is "open to doing something with it."
And that's about as vague as you can be. It could be as much about his stated policy of bringing better paying jobs back to the US, as anything else.
