The code on the left is a sophisticated way of square-rooting a number. If you provide it a number it will square root it.
The code on the right is retard tier code with irrelevant notes, E.G author name, smiley faces, exclamation marks, etc within the notes.
The code is to return the larger number from a set of two numbers.
The actual code is:

which one is bigger?
return the biggest one
The else at the bottom is supposed to be redundant because one number is always bigger than another so it will never be used. Except for the incident when the two numbers are the same value, in which case you will get 5 come out of your function, which means that the function is effectively worthless unless you KNOW that one number is bigger than the other.
The reason the second function is really shit, is because it can only function with integers, and if those integers are the same number it will return 5. Furthermore the notes are obnoxious.
The first code is clean, though it would be nice to have a couple of notes to make the function a little easier to follow.
Oh, and also the first code works for every number, not just integers.
The joke is that the people in the comments prefer the girls code because they find it funny and simple, but of course, the functions are two completely different things, and the females is objectively worse despite having an easier task.
It is a joke that women can only handle easy coding, and write their code like blog posts.
Of course, this is not true, and instead, women write their code without any notes across the entire fucking thing, so you don't know what the hell is going on. They also write code in the most backward arse way possible, so there is no possible chance you can even decipher what it was supposed to do, in the slight chance that it's actually functional. And god forbid if they fuck up and you have to check their code.
