house parties, clubbing, and similar activities are all part of the hook up culture. All the activities consist of drug abuse and finding a slut to fuck. This is undeniable and definitely is part of our society's moral decline. My firends and I never needed to go clubbing until we felt the sudden need to when we reached 18. Before that we just hanged out, had fun, went to trips, played sports and so on. Zero need for alcohol or parties to socialize.
Most of us got sick of it eventually but I still know people that, at their 30s, they still go out to drink specially women.
Also drunktards are usually very shitty people. They litter the streets, piss around, yell at the top of their lungs at 3 a.m. and trash the whole building if they do a house party while they blast their music at full power.

Here a house party involves about 15 people. Everyone brings food and alcohol. We sit at a table and talk about shit for like an hour while eating, then when we're a bit tipsy we start doing shit like playing ping pong, dancing or whatever. It's very civilized and relaxed. We don't even use plastic cups unless we're camping.
