Here in Germany, prostitution is legal and it has led to Germany becoming fucked completely. We have half a million prostitutes around here, I am not even kidding. 20 million German men and up to 5 million sex tourists visit prostitutes in Germany each year. This is seriously fucking up family values, birth rates and the future of Germany.
Young men living in cities can get their "sex" at prostitutes and then don't really care about getting into long lasting relationships and if they do, sex life is shitty and they break up, because prostitutes are "simpler" to use.
Prostitution needs to be outlawed immediately and harsh sentences put on BOTH prostitutes and customers. Public shaming for customers - 1 day at a public square with a sign around the neck "I visit prostitutes" and prostitutes need to be put behind bars for 1 year at least.

While prostitutes are supposed to pay taxes, they are usually not paying any taxes at all. There is no way for the tax authorities to "audit" prostitutes. They are all foreigners, they are "self employed" and transactions are done on a cash basis in private. If they pay any taxes, then it is a small fraction of what they owe.

No, even if it is technically legal. Cops only enforce prostitution laws via stings, and it doesn't matter if you go into a sting with legal intentions. They'll have the undercover hooker say something explicit, and if you don't deny them and then immediately leave you're busted. That's enough to get you convicted. The whole "we're not exchanging money for sex" act is to sniff out cops so you can bail before you get busted, not an actually legal defense.
