Probably cause it's a failed, stagnating, insanely unequal system compared to the 1945-1980 Keynesian model of their parents.

Because they learned politics from Jon Stewart, Bill Mahr, etc

>>72475326
Because socialism/communism appeals to those who are weak of mind and character. Millennials raised by single mothers look towards the govt as a defacto father figure. Capitalism scares the crap out of these manchildren because there is a real possibility that they can/will fail. Remember, this is the generation that grew up receiving "participation" rewards and trophies. They have yet to truly feel the sting of defeat and are not emotionally capable of dealing with it.
>>
>>72475326
They're fucking losers
>>

Because they confuse capitalism with contemporary neoliberalism, which exists purely to insulate the well-connected from free market forces.

It's a phase, senpai.

Because they believe they are entitled to everything.

Actually having to work and earn things scares the hell out of them.

>>72475326
Because the usa isn't a capitalist society any more. We've utterly failed and runaway money printing to fund any war congress or the president approves at the expense of every list citizen is not the basis for a successful economy.

Young people have never had a chance to live through real prosperous times where working a blue collar job can get food for you and your wife and kids. They blame capitalism, but that's maybe just because a few greedy people have decided that America comes after war and money. Perhaps we need a nationalist policy to prop up raw capitalism.

The state told them they need college, the state teachs them leftist bs, the state raises tuiton putting them in debt, the state blames capitalists for the debt created by the state. The kids demand that the private citizens need to be taxed more to cover for the states increased taxes. The state gladly agrees.
>>
huh? donald trump does not represent capitalism, he's anti-trade, pro-protectionism, not really libertarian which is the basis for capitalism.

granted, his real-life persona is totally different since he does business abroad all the time, but that's his real-life persona, so.. who the hell knows what he really is? we can only go by his policies, and his policies are not capitalist, he's a national socialist that sometimes sounds like Bernie

because they went through K-12 government schools and now they're functionally retarded in the spheres of economics, business and finance. the ones that escape the little socialist bubble they're raised in and make it through a college degree in one of those related fields end up ideologically poisoned by fed-funded keynesian and neokeynesian trash.

I like how everyone shits on the youth today. Shouldn't we be shitting on the ones who started the financial mess we're in?
>>
>>72475326

Because of white privilege. Notice how the majority of these shit starters have parents that are well connected and well off. They are just playing revolutionary untill mommy and daddy tell them to stop wasting their lives and get a job.

Unfortunately, they also attract and brainwash alot of minorities and poorer people to their idiotic ways who aren't well connected so that they end up poor "activists" well into their later years while these other rich white sjw's get their parents connections to get them high paying jobs.

and of course, edgy students being immature

This makes me happy. People who do social sciences deserve unemployment.

In my experience, most millennials who grew up with baby boomer parents respect capitalism, while millennials with gen X parents seem to be more outspoken against capitalism. It's almost a no-brainer to understand why.

Baby boomers grew up with the red scare and also the cold war. They've seen what communism and anti-capitalism brings: financial collapse and ruin. It's not even that boomers unanimously agree that capitalism is the best form of economy that could ever be conceived, but they agree it's the least worst and they've actually seen other system try to compete (and fail).

Gen Xers didn't have the red scare and probably only caught the tail end of the cold war. They are breeding children that legitimately believe that communism and socialism have never been attempted before and at the same time they believe that they're the first generation to ever fight against capitalism, and this phenomenon is partially a result of parents and schools who didn't properly educate the youth due to naivety and selective coursework, respectively.

Marxism is very appealing to millennials because they're unanimously all part of either the middle or lower classes, which stand to benefit the most from a system that redistributes wealth from the highest to the lowest classes by transferring financial burden from the lowest to the highest classes. Capitalism rewards the participants who work hard to move upward through the system, while marxism rewards everyone equally.

Millennials legitimately believe that they are entitled to a certain kind of lifestyle at the cost of everyone but themselves. They are quick to point out that the rich might be able to afford to give more than they currently do but they're silent when you remind them that there are people below them and they are doing literally not one thing to help.

Millennials want the 1% to pay for their college but they've never donated a minute of their time towards charity work to help the less fortunate.

I was raised by a single mother and I ain't a commie cuck. Unless it doesn't count if she barely "raised" me and a father figure was present in my life, although not consistently.

Are you blind? Education almost everywhere in the USA is very mainstream anti-communist and pro many aspects of the establishment.
>>
>>72481356
It's as much about what education doesn't teach as what it does teach, dumbass. And more about how shit is taught then what is taught. History as a course does not fucking matter unless a certain level of insight is ultimately gained.

I believe in capitalism so much that I know voting is a waste. This is why i'd rather make money and lobby to make a difference with what I want instead of pretending standing in a line will matter.
