Put it into perspective. Say you're a marine biologist and you notice that introducing a highly aggressive type of fish in a lake causes it to kill the entire ecosystem, where dozens of species populations die out because of the introduction of this foreign fish. Often times this fish will be very, very similar to a native species and even able to reproduce with them but instead of living in harmony they fuck everything up and kill the native populations, including hunting their own food sources to the point where they eventually kill themselves off.
The biologist would conclude that introducing this fish is unhealthy and they should remove it entirely for the good of the ecosystem, and even the foreign fish itself.
Now look at the statistics and tell me it's racism and not just science.

The United States is largely successful in assimilation, most obviously beginning with the second generation (if an individual is single when arriving, intermarriage is possible), but it's clear that some non-white racial groups play the victim more than others.
