I should add, facing RIGHT as a national symbol, but it was often facing left as a party symbol. This might have been so as not to insult the national symbol when they weren't in power. I know the national heraldry always has the eagle facing right.

I suppose it depends on the point you're trying to make? Do you accept that the eagle was retired legitimately, and should only use the eagle of the party now? I suppose it doesn't really matter. The eagle has fallen; it's not the national symbol of Germany anymore.

Think of it this way:

There are other symbols for us to adopt. Just as we don't walk around in public trying to look like we came from that era (except for the zionist stooges and useful idiots working for COINTELPRO). Keep the ideals in your heart, but leave the symbol to history and to Germans.
