At a certain level, no. It's interesting to figure out why people behave the way they do around each other and how groups and societies interact and develop.

Science on all its levels is measuring reality objectively. Mass, volume, acceleration, forces, and everything else is concrete and doesn't change anywhere (except the minor cases where they don't apply, like black holes).
Trying to find a reason "why" humans do something doesn't make sense because not everyone's thought process is the same. It is, at its very core, not objective, and therefore cannot be a science.

Sociology is sometimes interesting, but in its modern form, it's basically the "science" arm of liberalism and cultural Marxism. Pick up any recent sociology textbook and it'll be littered with liberal bias and Jewish influence. Anti-god, anti-white, etc. The one on my shelf actually has a section called "globalism".
Its harmful because the studies that are completed and under sociology often take a small population, and make a radical, sweeping generalization about a group of people. They want to be like the old greats like Max Weber and others, but it's completely overrun by faggots.

A lot of the recent work in bio-sociology, neurosociolgy, and gene*environment interactions is pretty interesting. That is the direction I see most social science going, particularly now that genotypic data and FMRI related data is so readily available.
