Listen guys, I've actually been to a Trump rally. To get in I had to go through a metal detector. TSA, state police, and secret service checked everyone's bags. A black couple wearing MAGA gear were escorted out of the checkpoint because they had fruit in their bags (presumably to throw at Trump). To get in, I had to pass a bomb sniffing dog.
During the rally, it's very plain to see that there are 10-12 operator level secret service types standing around him at all times. There were snipers on the roof and spotters in raised positions overlooking the crowd.
If you wanted to assassinate Trump you'd have to do it with your bare hands. You'd also have to fight your way past armed special forces and state troopers. When the rally was over, actual soldiers with assault rifles came from some undisclosed location and took a picture with Trump.
