Why do many liberals support Islam? They are literal polar opposites. Islam is anti-women's rights, anti-homosexuality, anti-transsexuals. I'm a liberal and I have a strong disgust towards Islam.

Alex Jones has suggested that they support it because both systems are authoritarian systems. Libs try to claim socialism isn't a totalitarian system, but it is the government controlling the people, just like Sharia is.
From the perspective of the illuminati/the jews/ the globalists/whatever you want to call them, an authoritarian system is easier to subvert because they only have to influence the people in power not the majority of the population.
The goal is combining all of the authoritarian systems into one large authoritarian system.

Islam is an authoritarian way of life which appeals to leftist desire to control and prescribe every aspect of an individual's actions and thoughts.
Islam does not tolerate questioning or criticism, also identical to leftist beliefs.
Non-believers in both Islam and leftist ideologies are 'evil' and must be defeated. They may either convert or die. Believing in Islam or left wing ideals gives the believer a sense of instant moral superiority. The person feels no reason to achieve anything else to prove themselves, because they feel they have a moral high ground by which to bully and intimidate people. This is attractive to lazy, shitty people.
Both believe that true peace and prosperity will be achieved when society is 100% in their control. Ironically, societies that have adopted 100% in either ideology tend to be shitholes. Go figure.
Leftists also see Islam as the ultimate 'anti-white'. Even subconsciously, they realise that Islam is a conquering ideology. Leftists need modern Western society to fall and Muslims are just the barbarians to do it.
There are also other reasons. Leftists believe in an oppression hierarchy and Islam is designated in a dindu nuffin to them. They are at once petrified and awestruck at the militancy of Islam, as it puts its anti-western sentiment out on display openly, to the point of terrorist attacks. This makes a leftist's dick diamonds.
Leftists are also naive. They believe once the West has fallen, it can be rebuilt in their image; Islam is believed to be inherently peaceful - it's only the West that makes them so violent. This is obviously false. Most leftists believe that the only thing Islam will bring to society is kebabs and colourful costumes. They are (wilfully) blind to the social and political agenda of Islam.
I'd wager most 'leftist/feminists' today would join Islam as soon as the numbers are high enough (say 30-40%). These people are not drawn to leftist ideals but rather the authoritarianism.
