Depends where you go, and what you're doing.
The overwhelming majority of Brits here will just be regular, nice people, as I'm sure they will in France. Unless you act like a knobhead or are rude, nobody'll pay you much special attention.

stay out of the sharia controlled zones, other than that london is great.
dont worry sharia zones are only 30-40% of london.
even if you aren't in a sharia zone make sure that:
