Ron Paul was crushed by the media while Trump is crashing the mass media with no survivors.
Trump, while new to politics, has had 40 years of daily thug of war with the worst of the worst of journalists in New York papers (like NYT) which are arguably the worst journalists worldwide. He has been hated by most media since his first successes and what we see is decades of expertise in turning this weapons against them.
