Best thing about New Zealand is our courage to act about equality and not just talk about it.
We were the first to give women the vote, first to have a woman prime minister and very early to accept gay marriage.
Pay gap is steadily decreasing but like a lot of countries, we are making moves on it. I'm especially proud of our female athletes who are leading the way in the sporting world. Our females dominate both women AND men in their respective fields.

Went on three week joint-ops in New Zealand during Ex Thunder Warrior 2015. Kiwi signals personnel were professional and remained calm even as their gunners fucked up and fired live artillery on wrong coordinates. Quite a few Maori servicemen in infantry and armour, but virtually none in signals and recon. I found that odd.
The most memorable thing from the exercise (besides the white girls at the strip clubs) was the New Zealander rations. Damn, they're good.

SPGs are great, especially for New Zealand's terrain. American smart guns aren't worth the money or the maintainance. Singapore built their own SPGs and we actually export them.
