It is a really nice base. It is named after George A. Whiteman. He was one of the first American casualties during World War 2 at Pearl Harbor. His plane had "Lucky, lucky me." written on it. He didn't fly to good though.
>>
>>72192100

That's a big tornado.
>>
Which is worse, a tornado or a hurricane?
Tornados have higher wind speeds, but it's over with in a few minutes, while the slightly lower winds of a hurricane can last for hours.
I've only been thru hurricanes.
Anybody been thru both care to way in?

>>
>>72193392
Why don't people in the midwest plant more fucking trees? Unless you're growing crops there's no reason to have so much exposed yard around your house.
>>
>>72192853
Is that even possible?
>>
>>72192961
Exactly what a tornado WOULD say. I'll bet you're spinning right now faggot. Nothing gayer than a tornado, all they do is suck.

There's just something comfy about being tucked in while there's a shitstorm outside. Not as comfy as feeling the breeze of a hurricane though.

>>
>>72193759
Hello friend, you are not so far. I am by the blue valley area.
>>
>>72193654
Many of the midwest/plains states have soil that doesn't support tree growth due to composition and nutrient levels.

Dipshit.

Easy.

Suck as hard as I can over the rest of Missouri, spank Oklahoma and Kansas tonight (and well into tomorrow) then revisit my old friends, Moore, Joplin and Greenville.

Actually most of the natural habitat in the Midwest is tall prairie grass. It was maintained by constant fire. Most trees you see are invasive and creep in from the lack of disturbance.

Lawrence here.

How the fuck does every storm either miss us, or die down before it gets here? I don't even take weather hype serious anymore.

But I'm glad it's raining!! Get them rivers up high, i wanna catch some flatties!

It always missed us
>>
>>72194432
>>72194545

Mt. Oread, son. Lawrence is built on a hill. Topography plays a role in the path of a storm. It usually runs its ass into valleys.

I hate this fucking town.
>>
>>72192529
Most of the KC metro area lives on the Kansas side, also, there is a Kansas City Kansas and it's full of niggers
>>
>>72194634
That's stupid, it has nothing to do with Mt. Oread. That's such a small part of town.

It has more to do with how wind patterns work as they come off the Flint Hills, Clinton Lake, and the river all creating a weird pocket that tends to divert that shit. Also, the natural heat of the city compared to the countryside.
