What did he mean by this?

We don't know. Some say he called it "serious satire", others say that at the time, his band was very right wing.

>at the time, his band was very right wing
What does that have to do with the lyrics?

They were (apparently, I'm not 100% on it) right wing punks at the time in support of capitalism. Whether or not the song is mocking or supporting capitalism is unknown, but it is not popular amongst communists to say the least.
"Perfect System" on the same album is basically BTFOing commies as well

I was talking about what they meant by loving little girls and feeling good around them.
>>72145439
Ah right, I know more about the meaning behind this one
When it came to his "Little Girls" song, he wasn't mocking paedophilia at the time, but instead was mocking the many rich musical artists and other various famous people who were middle aged and because of their influence and wealth could get very young partners, often ranging from about 18-20 years old. It was extremely weird to see the age gap between the two.

Oingo Boingo is the shit.

Their music is undeniably catchy, even if you don't support the stances they go for.
>>72145066
If anything, it's even more on the nose. I guess they were pretty serious when it came to making the song, then?
>>72145737
Don't know where you got 18-20 years old from, he has said in Hollywood he saw executives with 13 year olds in their cars. Hollywood had a major paedo problem.

>had
you serious?
Elfman's freely talked about where his politics were at the time.
Basically, this was right after he got back from Africa, where he saw all the shittiness of the 3rd world and almost died from malaria. Imagine going straight from that to sparkling, beautiful, booming early-'80s America, it would make anyone love capitalism.

If I'm honest, I don't know where I got it from either, I just heard about it vaguely.
It's still not too related to the main video, though.
