As such when topics such as refugees, genderpolitics or war comes up they are a very sheltered people who vote accordingly. More refugees, equality for women (at the cost of sexism to men) and war is only something that happens in movies.
In the 2011 election SNP won a completely overwhelming campaign almost completely wiping out their rivals entirely who only retained seats thanks to our semi proportional representation system.
The SNP cannot be stopped and will push for a second independence referendum if they can, going by the 2011 election Labour is the only party who can stop this however their policies are almost identical except on this one issue of independence.
UKIP don't stand a chance, conservatives can barely get enough seats to have an opinion.

This. Nicola Sturgeon and Alex Salmond do not give a fuck about if Scotland does well as an independent nation or not. They only want to go down in history as the people who made Scotland independent.
It makes no sense that their biggest argument for independence is so that we're not under Westminster's control anymore, but they'll happily put us under Brussel who restrict us more than anything? Look at what they did with Scotland's fishing industry for example.
We shouldn't be looking to become independent because we have our own devolved powers and parliament, the only things Scotland doesn't have a say over are because they're UK-Wide Issues (I.E. Defense). We should be looking to get more power brought away from London and spread evenly throughout the country.
Besides what has the SNP actually done to benefit Scotland? They've increased taxes on the middle-class so that we can support carry the lower-class even more, and then just cry about the Tory's and muh independence.
