I think I figured out why Cruz and Kasich went public with their alliance. They wanted people to see them as trying to screw over the voters in order to push people towards Trump. It was YUGE. The arena's capacity is 10k and every seat was filled, plus people on the floor and other overflow areas. A woman next to me said she knows someone on his campaign staff that reported 22k tickets we're claimed for it.
No protesters inside surprisingly. I got there at about 4 and waited about an hour to get inside. No protesters outside during that time.
