I'm an atheist.

I was curious about /pol/'s religious views since there seem to be libertarians and "hardline" conservatives in the majority here.

True libertarians are decreasing by the day. A lot of /pol/ posters nowadays are simply NEET neckbeards looking for something to believe in. I think that once you pick an interest on Physics or Biology, there is no excuse in being religious. It's not a matter of opinion, it's just the way it is.

That's not to say that practicing tradition is a bad thing, of course. Religion is often hardcoded into tradition, so it's okay to celebrate the respective events one way or another.

Why do you say that atheists are degenerate, and what does it mean to be degenerate?

I am an atheist but I believe in the nuclear family unit and extended family unit for their ability to provide a strong, supportive environment for children.
