Do right-wing parties in Northern Europe agree with the welfare state?

I mean, 20 years ago our socialist parties were kind of anti-immigration. This immense cuckening in regards to refugees is quite new.

Sure they want to spend less money, but they dont want to get rid of the welfare state. Especially increased welfare for elderlies has been a key issue for them alongside less immigration.

I would say that the Sweden Democrats, the closest thing Sweden have to a real right-wing party, is for a wellfarestate. Their policy in economics is however a clusterfuck as I understand it, just so you know.

Right wing doesn't exist in Europe. "Extreme right" in Europe are communists who are against immigration.
The welfare state might actually work out in a homogenic society, like Germany or Sweden in the 50ies. AfD in Germany wants to get rid of the welfare state.

Sweden would seriously be heaven on earth if our politicians hated immigration and made it extremely hard to get citizenship.

I don't understand how any rationally based welfare state could be anything but anti-immigrant unless the immigrants will actually contribute to the economy.

It doesn't work. It only works for slightly longer because people will feel the obligation to contribute to society for a generation or two. Then you have to import third world niggers to feed your pyramid scheme because birth rates drop to below replacement levels.
Even replacement level would be unsustainable because welfare is a pyramid. It needs the contributors to be more numerous than the consumers.
