It is natural for men to form hierarchies, and men lower on the totem pole should not be treated with contempt or cheated, because it takes many different types to make a society.
We have a lot of betas because society has traditionally favored boring, but stable men who could be relied on to create things, and otherwise back up the glory - seekers and policy-makers.
The biggest problem is that betas have lost their traditional rewards, and so they are having to act like very shitty alphas in order to try and get their share.
