I can confirm this as half true. When border patrol takes you, they will run a biometric and if you're Mexican they will make you sign a document stating that you want to go back. If you're from another country they will translate the document and ask if you do you sign if you don't then you get some sort of trial or something but yea they take you in on this side and depending on the case you have they let you stay but if you're Mexican you're chances are pity
