I feel bad for an Mexicans who actually want to fight the cartels. No matter how hard they try, the cartels just buy out more police officers and politicians to keep drugs illegal (which keeps up profit margins) and to avoid enforcing laws and tracking down actual criminals who happen to work with the cartels.
It seems so hopeless to fight the cartels at all in Mexico. Half the dudes in your unit are being paid by the cartels and will blow your brains out if you dare stand up to them. Plus your chief is a cartel member so they won't get caught. If you're lucky they'll just kidnap your family and send you a video of them being raped and chopped into bits. If you're unlucky they'll capture you and chop you up.
Intense. I didn't know Columbia had a sophisticated special forces like this
