Actually Trump has always been viewed unfavorably by most people. He's always put himself out there in the public eye, and before he developed political ambitions, he genuinely DNGAF what anyone thought.
But that's a fashion. Like, "Oh yeah, Donald Trump, what an ass." Because you saw him on television mocking Rosie O'Donnell or firing your favorite contestant on a reality show.
But speaking of reality, this is reality: The voting booth is where fashion gets kicked to the curb. Whatever people might think or say they think in public has very little to do with what they're going to do once they're inside that booth. That's why the only political polls that end up being accurate are exit polls.
The fact that someone might view Trump "unfavorably" will not necessarily prevent that person from voting for him. Very few people in the modern PC world are willing to admit that they actually do want a wall between the USA and Mexico, or that they'd like us to start winning wars instead of dragging them out for profit, or that they think we're getting fucked in most of our foreign trade deals, or that niggers are a big fucking problem.
But inside, they know Trump feels that way. They know he's gonna do what needs to be done. And when they walk into that booth, whatever they might have told their friends, family, and co-workers about their open-minded idealism, they are going to vote Donald Fucking Trump.
Because it's never been more obvious who is really the man for the job.
