I like the west coast mostly for the nature/scenery and parts of the North East because it's so white. My father moved to Louisville a few years ago so I've learned to like Kentucky. Florida is Florida.

Myrtle beach is where most people go to. I find it awfully tacky there. However there are a good amount of attractions there.
The towns just south of Myrtle are relatively quiet and have nice restaurants and nature attractions (beaches, gardens, sculptures)
