Factually incorrect. Bush's actions in Iraq were entirely in keeping with Congressional will, which is why nobody opposed him. Bernie Sanders made a token opposition but then funded the war, because at the time, the war was in fact entirely reasonable.
Saddam Hussein was ousted because he challenged the Petrodollar, because he refused to allow UN inspectors access to his country, and because he challenged US no-fly zones. Nobody had any illusions about this back in 2004, it is only in hindsight that Sanders pretends that this was some sort of stupid decision that everyone made out of the blue. Literally all 16 of our intelligence agencies agreed that Saddam had chemical weapons and was disposing of them during the grace period. That has in fact been supported by the capture of pesticide plants protected by the Republican Guard.
The only part of Iraq that was a mistake was trying to install a democracy afterwards. We should have installed a tyrant.
