It is our fault, we made life so easy for the millennials that none of them are capable of doing anything worthwhile. It is because that is how we raised them. A bunch of poorly educated, innumerate and illiterate pursuers of pleasure who will not and cannot contribute anything to the health and well being of the government they expect to support them in high style. The current generation of millennials is living off of the work and accumulated work of prior generations. Once the millennials hit their 40s, the US will be a shitskin ruled hellhole, just like all other shitskin nations. We made everything too easy for them, pretended that even the slightest "accomplishment" was wonderful, and they were the smartest, most wonderful bunch of people ever born, and all deserve to be rich, without acquiring any significant knowledge, or working. The millennials needed the tough love which made prior generations successful, and created a generation of stupid, selfish, lazy, entitled pussies. If they think they have it bad now, just wait until the older generations are too old to continue subsidizing the millennials.

I'm in college, I work 60 hour weeks as park maintenance/dish-washer/phone-bank-caller during the summer, and 20 hour weeks during the school-year as building security.
This summer, I'll be working for a plumber as a "go-fer"
My roommate works for Cadillac over the summers, as a headlight builder.

You'd be surprised how many of us there are, bud. Blue-collar work is hard and shitty, but it's decent, honest work. I work with a bunch of 20 somethings and am gonna be a school-teacher to help children see that Blue-collar isn't a bad living.

I am a Millenial and my house, land, car, and motorcycle are all paid in full and I work a full time job with good benefits at about 70k a year in an area where the average income is less than 15k a year.
You know why? I didn't go to college and instead went to work in an in demand field, got experience, moved to a location where it was even more in demand, moved back home after making a bunch of cash, and took a job making less money but financially secure and still making good cash.
100% of the people I know that got a college degree are fucked financially. Also everyone I know that got married is fucked financially because 100% of the people I know that got married got a divorce and got fucked in the divorce.
My advice, work a job, even if it is a hard labor job, that is in demand, move to get more money with that job even if you have to live out of your god damned car when you move to get rolling, and don't get married and avoid college.
Barely into my 30's and I doing fucking great. If I lost my job right now and had to live off of unemployment for an indefinite amount of time? I would still be doing great because I have zero debt.

They are just like children, but if you force them into a situation where they will suffer, where they realise that they are not in fact safe, where they realise that the world will eat them alive the moment the system around them collapses, I believe they would learn how to be grown ups.
Granted, everyone else in the world has a head start, but it is better late than never.
