We should keep repeating the policies which are historically proven.
Both socialism and liberalism, or both capitalism and communism are basically the artificial concepts which are found and reasoned by human intelligence. But we are not capable of designing society by our own intelligence, because we human beings are not intelligent enough.
On the other hand, history, statics, tradition, constitution and common sense are better compasses of society than human reasoning because those are the result of natural course and selection. The biggest error of modern ideology is to deny the reality that we can't win over the nature (currently).
