You need to give yourself a small, achievable timeline/goal (a milestone), something like 2 weeks. It needs to be more than saying "I'll go 3 times" because you'll be sore as shit after the first week. No programming, no supplements, just progress to 15 reps and increase weight, repeat from 3-5 reps and work back to 15.

Works better than coffee in the mornings, keeps me on edge when i get home.

Also forces you to take note of what you're stuffing into your body. Fish, fruits, nuts and doubled my dinner.

Strength gains will produce little aesthetic gains. A good part of the increment in strength is actually due to a better neuromotor coordination, and not so much to how big you are.
Which is why bodybuilders are way more impressive than powerlifters, physically speaking.

Strength increments are no big deal per se and take relatively little time to appear, altough they are a fundamental part in one's yearly training schedule.
Mass gains + low bodyfat are the real deal, aesthetically speaking. And even if you focus on pure strength gains, you will eventually stall as your body will require more muscular mass to lift more weight.
Putting up 15 kg in 7 months of pure size without fat, now that's an impressive feat.

Of course i'm not trying to discourage or anything famalam, just suggesting that doing a strength routine for so long is a not very effective way to put size or build an aesthetic body.

I was at 225 5x5 on bench press and up near 400 5x5 on deadlift... Wasn't gonna win any awards; but I looked good and knew I was stronger than most people around me. Good feeling.

nah just atheltic, fucboi. lots of cardio and moderate lifting instead of muscle building. Hairlines great now but if it starts to go then ill start lifting heavier. Not everyone who lifts bald obviously, im just saying it will increase the chances thats scientifically proven. Ill keep my hair over being jacked for now.

it's worth it to do even if you're already fit because it may fix some imbalances but if you're super fit already it'll teach some good form and dynamic warmups for later on -- you only have to stick with it for a few months before moving on to more advance workouts and if you're super fit you can just work it in on top of your existing workouts

the issues are, despite popular belief, you do need equipment, namely somewhere to do pullups and dips, and a bit of open space (it doesn't have to be too much), -- chairs for dips is okay but they're not ideal and over door pullup bars kinds suck

and, no matter your progress of fitness, bwf sucks for legs, the bwf purists that only do bodyweight (or weighted bodyweight) movements look like they're wheelchair bound most of the time which means people tend to work in squats and deadlift (which people will criticise as "not being bwf because those work upper body also" but ignore those retards)

also, the workouts suck if you're tall or heavy as they become significantly more difficult the more you weigh or the taller you are

other than that I found the beginner's routine to be extremely engaging as a very out of shape overweight average height guy -- I'll probably move on to free weights at some point but I think a lot of the bwf exercises are pretty valueable to be able to do (and a lot of it is just dips, pull/chinups, pushups anyway, very typical strength exercises)
