I have never seen or heard of any such kind of "leftist courses" inside germany from any university. I know your US system you have to take some stupid courses that aren´t really part of the subject you are studying, this is rarely the case in germany. As a physicist myself, there is nothing else except physics, same for IT, bio, chem, engineering, math, economy, languages and so on. There are not "leftist" courses, only things relevant to the subject. This brainwashing is mostly strong in the US.
