We have a big indentitarian problem here, in Catalonia. A lot of population came from several migration waves from other parts of Spain during the last century, which were so numerous that in many places the locals were no longer a majority. Some of them integrated into our culture, but most of them still don't have a feel of belonging there. There are even people who hate our culture, despite being born here or have been living here for 30 years. Since the immigrants were too much and an importat portion of them came when there was a dictatorship (our culture wasn't promoted and our language was censured) we weren't capable of integrating them. The independence is mostly supported by native catalans and the catalans who came from these immigrations waves that have integrated into our culture.

Its a lot more likely for the whole of east germany to split than bavaria. The people there are getting increasingly tired of the shit west germany does, meanwhile bavaria is as cucked as the rest of west germany (and I'm saying this as a bavarian).
The franconians only want to split from bavaria and not from germany as a whole. The sorbs are basically none existent at this point and wouldn't probably be capable of creating and maintaining their own state.
I don't think the frisians would ever split but I don't know much about them. From what I understand they used see themselves as germans and only now some define themselves as frisians only because its getting "cool".
And I never heard of a Baden or Swabian independence movement.

I wouldnt be opposed to independent Flanders but this idea that everything would be more efficient is a pipe dream. Right now we had the "sixth state reform", transferring responsibilities to Flemish level, but it only ends up being a copy of the inefficient Belgian structures. Maybe we would reform more without the french socialists and be more german economically, but it is being presented as an utopia.
