Lived there for a couple of years, it's not very impressive for the capitol of a mighty nation. There are some cool neighborhoods near Georgetown if you can afford it but rest of the city is mix of ghetto and gentrifying bullshit. More than anything, the city lacks a unifying culture making it feel like a big shopping mall except the goods being sold are influence.
