Everyone knows that Germany lost a lot of rightful territory in the 20th century. A lot of this land was not mere military conquests, like France and Western Russia, but established German lands.
The most jarring theft was those Silesia, Pomerania and Prussia. These lands were part of the various German Reichs and States for hundreds of years before they were taken in the aftermath and given to the artificial state of Poland.
The question is, does Germany still have a claim on these lands? The history is there, but the people are not. Virtually all of the German population in these areas were executed, expelled or fled after WWI and WWII.
