Ugly ass building filled with communists.

As an aspiring architect I despise that building, if this was being built in urban Japan where everything is all "DUDE VAPORWAVE LMAO" then it would fit in but that monstrosity was placed on the fucking ROYAL MILE. The Royal Mile is known worldwide for it's neoclassical architecture and the last fucking thing it needs is some pointy scrap metal piece of shit leeching off it.

That thing just makes me want to REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

For anyone voting on May 5th:

There are 5 different party choices for the constituency (in descending number of seats): Scottish National Party, Labour, Conservative, Liberal Democrats, and Green.

We have 2 votes:
1 vote for a constituency MSP
1 vote to elect regional MSPs (which include more parties based on your region)

I live round the corner from the building itself, within 1m30s walk from it.

Disgusting building meant to show how diverse and alternate we are.

Sadly it's looking more likely that if we win the referendum to leave we would also have another indepedence referendum on our hands.

Also, Kil-Der-Kin pub on the street opposite the parliament is a great pub, food is top tier and the drinks are quality if a little expensive..

it's a shame they didn't make it at least fit in with the royal mile

Literally looks like the theme was "African mud hut and corrugated tin shanty town".

I weep for Scotland. All leftists and gay parliament, with a strong socialist agenda, bent on full EU integration, and multiculuralism.

And a population that votes SNP without a single clue of their policies and what will happen if they have control of important items like immigration and defense.

Every time an SNP wanker comes on here I want to shake them to death. The ignorance is astounding.

It is pretty ugly. Looks like a leisure centre in a Sussex suburb.

Councils no longer care about communities, only consolidating their powers.

Small towns are seeing the closure of all public facilities making cities or bigger towns into hubs.

We will see a diaffected populace much like the one under the soviets. Communities will break down as everyone trys to grab their share from the meager pile.

Scotland is done for if it continues down this path.

Socialism kills.

maybe if we were independent

SNP leading political party in Scotland, tried to get Scottish independence. This would involve by default leaving the EU (they are too small and puny to qualify on their own)
Oil market goes tits up, Scotland would have gone bust if they had gotten independence.
UK try to leave the EU and the SNP are pushing to stay in the EU (arguing exactly opposite to the arguments they got elected on)
Scottish folk are thick and will buy into anything ( even Mel Gibson and his accent)

Every one of them liberal, pro-EU. Some choice.

that's for constituency. UKIP are running in the regional votes

The SNP are a disgrace to Nationalism.
They're so bad i actually believe they are a containment and control party set up to defuse nationalist sentiment and moderate it into a form that would be guaranteed to lose.
They single-handedly conflated Independence with EU membership, mass immigration, higher taxes, welfare state, feminism, SJWism.
Their battle cry was literally no more Tory Govt's.
How on fucking earth did they expect to carry the entire country when they framed the Yes vote along such partisan and divisive lines?
They have assumed the role of gatekeeper of Nationalism in Scotland and alienated huge swathes of the country in the process.
I am at a loss about what to do.

I am an Indy supporter, just not the SNP or Green type.
>>
There was a survery a few months ago saying most people will not vote for a party that does not share their position on independence.

Scotland needs a right wing/pro indpendence realist party

It's SHITE being Scottish! You're the lowest of the low. The scum of the fucking Earth! The most wretched, miserable, servile, pathetic trash that was ever shat into civilization. Some hate the English. I don't. They're just wankers. You, on the other hand, are COLONIZED by wankers. Can't even find a decent culture to be colonized BY. You're ruled by effete arseholes. It's a SHITE state of affairs to be in, and ALL the fresh air in the world won't make any fucking difference!

Start one. You probably only need 1000 signatures to do it.

A vote for independence is a vote for the SNP. It's a 1 party state.
