I'm going to church today for the first time. There's a Catholic one, a Lutheran one and a non-denominational one nearby me. Which should I attend?
>>71900962
find the nearest church of satan and then decide to not attend any of them because god and satan are not real.
>>71900962
The only one is the Catholic.

*kisses foot*
Enter any of these and shout that allah is great at the top of your lungs and then run away
I'm sure there is a Masjid nearby, go to that instead

Boy I love seeing all these faggots say "God and the devil aren't real" while their countries and traditions get dissolved by degeneracy and fucking Muslims. Keep sticking your head in the sand pal, I'm sure Satan will love to show himself to you when it's too late.

You can lecture people on religion once you learn to use a toilet.
>>71900962
Lutheran, they are based about the Jews. Left the catholics after the Jesuits took over.
Alternative choice: you don't go to church since religion is complete bullshit.
>>71900962
The Lutheran or non denominational one. That said be leary if they preach tolerance of the untolerable.

Church of Christ. Nondenominational churches base themselves on scripture and scripture alone. A common phrase amongst nondenominationalists is "where the Bible speaks, we speak. Where the Bible is silent, we are silent."
>>71900962
catholic, others are freak shows
>>71901572
Again, once you stop shitting all over the place we can talk
Non denominational is your best entertainment value. I went to one some two fucking half wits pretended to "speak in tongues" during the ceremony. I still tell the story to this day. What a bunch of fucking morons.

Roman Catholtic the only true way.
>>71901654
Not every nondenominational church is the same. Not every catholic rapes little boys, not every Baptist is a football coach, and not every Lutheran nails a thesis to a cathedral.
Don't be a retard. Christ would rebuke you.
>>71900962
If you go to any Protestant one might as well go right to the nearest jewish Temple.
Catholic, anything else goes against scripture and is a false religion
>>71901729
It's a shame that entertainment value has fallen to such a low standard then. I really expected them to reach the high bar they did when I attended. It was 10/10 I rate two thumbs up excellent bullshit would attend again!

>>71901808
I'm all for Catholism and the good it has done, but it is a very unchristian thing of you to say every other church is false.
Two people meeting together to study and spread the word is good enough for God.
>>71901878
I mean, it was a hyperbolic way of phrasing it but that's typical for this board.
I much prefer people attending *any* church than people not trying to seek out god :)
>>71901878
I'm Catholic and I agree with this, well said.
>>71901865
It is a shame that a church allowed such disgusting heresy, but that is not representative of every Lutheran or nondenominational church, you petulant child.
>>71900962
A black church.
OP here, I'll try the Catholic church. If it doesn't work out I'll give another a shot next Sunday. Thank you, /pol/!
>>71902101
Just try out all of them, read up an all of them and base your decision upon that, there's no need to make a rushed decision when it comes to decisions like that.
God will make sure you will get on the right path if you open yourself up, I hope.
>>71902224
I hope so too. Thanks!

I've always wanted to attend a Catholic service. What is it like?
>>71902434
Very nice, a lot of churches are really beautiful inside. If the church is old then the architecture can be spectacular.

I don't have the comparison, as I never attended any other services, except for a few ecumenical ones when I was in school.
I've been living in different parishes, and the services were a bit different. In my parish here in Canada the service feels very casual and more lighthearted, and it is also held in a fairly new, simple church building. It's mostly younger families and it seems more geared towards that.
Back home in Europe it's in a very old parish in an impressive, beautiful church, and the parish is mostly made up of old people. Because of the surroundings, it seems much more spiritual and formal, though the procedures are of course the same.
I think it just really depends on the parish you go to, from my experience.
Oh, I've once been to an anglican church, and it wasn't very nice. They had a play corner for children in the back of the church, and they had a female priest holding the mass when I was there, which I don't agree with. It didn't really feel like a proper service to me and especially the thing with the toys in the back seemed just very disrespectful.

Oh yeah, and then of course there is Tridentine Mass, which is the most special of all, but it's not available anymore in most parishes.
I never had the chance to attend it myself, as no parishes close to mine offer it anymore.
There is videos of it on youtube.
