Hitler did amazing things for the country of Germany. They were basically irrelevant with major struggles and he turned them into a world powerhouse.
I do not think millions of Jews died during the holocaust as reported by some outlets. I also believe a lot of deaths happened due to the Allies bombing supply trains that were headed to camps.

Some of the arguments that holocaust revisionists have mentioned make the official story seem a bit off. I believe it's totally possible that the death toll (or the number of deliberate killings vs. deaths that resulted from war conditions) may have been exaggerated because of political reasons and sympathy points. And I don't think it's acceptable to make parts of history illegal to research anyway; if the revisionists are wrong, their arguments should be debunked instead of silenced.
However, stuff like Aktion T4 or the death sentences of the White Rose appear to be pretty clear evidence that nazi Germany was capable of killing its own citizens. If they did those things, I don't see why they would've shied away from killing jews.

Methodically ridding the world of a specific group feels worse to me as it's the pushing of tribal ideals with the force of intelligent execution. Mao killed through his own incompetence. My point is that that's not as frightening as the Holocaust. It's very easy for any idiot ruler to starve people to death. Picking out certain people and then methodically gassing/cremating them takes great organization and intelligence. Usually intelligence leads to ethics that are beyond tribal desires like genocide, the Holocaust proves that that is not always true.
