Progress bad. All things should remain the same, forever.

That lady was a pretty hardcore republican, I'm not sure why people on /pol/ are having such an issue with the gesture.

She literally looks like lemon key face and smuggled about 70 slaves out of the south, la dee fuckin' da. If they want a black person that was actually influential in the abolitionist movement they should have gone with Fredrick Douglass, motherfucker won serious hearts and minds. Tubs is just on there for the sake of diversity.
A E S T H E T I C S though. I don't like ugly money and just look at this intense motherfucker.

>Progressive

Dumbass democrats took off the founder of the Democrat Party and replaced it with a Gun toting, black Republican. I am contacting NASA to help get my sides because of the irony.

here's the real problem with this move.

Harriet Tubman executive summary:
>escaped slavery at 27, obviously took courage and skill back then
>later helped relatives escape slavery
>worked to free other slaves, mostly from her own state
>engaged in thirteen rescue missions, freed 70 people, not bad

Andrew Jackson
>risked his life at 13 for the new American constitution and the rights it has granted us
>became a POW, was subjected to horrific conditions including torture, starvation and disease (smallpox)
>watched his brother die in the prison camp
>was finally freed and then his mother died while he was 14
>after the war, despite his lack of formal education he moved into the frontier and became a lawyer
>was a member of tennessee government prior to its statehood, and then a US representative
>got bored and became a state supreme court judge
>got bored and focused on his businesses, during this whole time he had become a successful land speculator and plantation owner
>co-founded a city, its called Memphis, Tennessee, maybe you've heard of it
>founded Memphis after serving as a general in the war of 1812 (he had been in the military this whole time too, faggots)
>defended our country and our freedom once again from oppression and monarchy
>fought off encroaching Indians who looked to take the territory our nation as a whole had claimed
>became president
>instituted many reforms, ended his presidency with the bold move of removing the Federal Reserve bank and bringing on an era of free banking
>unfortunately the FED was later re-established, and it continues to use policies to oppress citizens of this country at the whims of its unelected leaders

So there you have it. An inspirational woman, sure. But the other is an absolutely incredible man. If we wish to wipe his face from the history books because of his views on Indians then so be it. I will remember him and teach him to my children and we will be better for it.

at the zoo, i once saw a chimp pick its ass, then its nose, then lick its fingers. the little kid next to me was disgusted enough by this scene to vomit out an entire elephant ear directly into the stroller of his little sister. the entire family erupted into chaos & had to be escorted out when the father threw a trash can into the enclosure & one of the chimpanzees picked out a diaper & wore it as a hat

despite this, your thread has got to be one of the most unbelievably fucking retarded things ive ever had the incredible misfortune of seeing

id pray for you but whenever whatever god is out there heard of your conception he decided to clock out for the next couple hundred years, so he won't be any help

just go fuck yourself like uncle showed you how to do & let me drink my beer in peace

also nobody wants to use a bill thats only worth $12

Its a token. That's all. token minority, token woman, token black. not at all on the same level as presidents, they had to dig down to find someone they could pander with.

Tokens should irritate the minorities they are pandering to, far more than they irritate us. It's Hillary with a bottle of hot sauce in her purse, its the token black guy on a tv show. They SHOULD find it insulting. And that's what is even funnier..they aren't insulted at all.

>have to drill down through thousands of influential history makers in the US to get to her level to find a token

They're changing it for the presentation of progressiveness for one. They could have had all black people on all of the money during the civil war and it wouldn't have changed shit. Changing it to one bitch who was not a founding father or president sets a precedent for popular figures to be considered more than influential figures. You may have never heard of some of the Presidents of the United States, but they did more to influence our lives than this one bitch ever did.

its interesting that you recognize him getting rid of the fed and still feel like he should be on a FEDERAL RESERVE note
>>
>>71882938
Unless she's been posthumously elected president then she shouldn't be on the bill.

There's also the fact that if she were a white man she wouldn't even be considered, that ain't progressive m8, just racist.
>>
Jackson was pretty uninteresting, he didn't do much besides send some indians off and own a big block of cheese. Why did they even put him on in the first place?
>>
>>71887751
totally agree with this. if they really want Tubman scrunched in between the scrolls listing the deeds of the true awe-inspiring greats like Washington, Jefferson, Jackson or even Hamilton their children are going to question are going to scratch their heads and wonder why there's not more of "them." the truth is black people in America lack a history due to (blah blah blah) the systematic oppression that was institutionalized slavery (blah blah blah). It sucks for all of us that this is the case, but we need to accept it in order to move on, thats just recovery 101. A black man should be able to look up to Jackson just as much as a white man and they shouldn't feel insecure about their lack of history.

America NiGgAz are even bitching about seeing that ugly ass Aunt Jemina on the bill.

It's called a Federal Reserve not because we have a Federal Reserve and they are in control of the currency of this country. If we did not have a Federal Reserve we would still have a currency and I would still want Jackson's face on it, nice try though dumb fuck.
