Czech spirit died in 1620 (Battle of White Mountain), it became alive again 300 years later with the formation of the first czechoslovak republic. It died again in 1938 (the Munich betrayal) and some say it will take another 300 years to come back. Just as every post ostblok country, they are dealing with a shitload of corruption but things are getting better slowly.
