Why do so many Canadians hate Edmonton? It's easily one of the best cities in Canada and doesn't deserve its poor reputation.
>good economy, unemployment below national average even with the oil industry dead
>high incomes
>largest urban park in Canada, with more than 160 kilometres of maintained pathways and 20 major parks
>well defined seasons
>winter is fairly mild by Canadian standards
>light traffic relative to larger Canadian cities
>can drive to the mountains in only 3 hours
>down to earth population
